Bio

Hi, I’m Jeanine Lee—but most people call me Lee.

I’ve always been a builder. I started as a mechanical engineer, became a magazine founder, then spent the next two decades helping vc-backed startups make sense of their finances, operations, systems, and technology. I cut my teeth working with some of the most successful startups including OLIPOP, Liquid Death, Momofuku, BioLite, Genius, MoviePass, goTenna, Casper, and Planet Labs.

Today, I help founder-led and mission-driven organizations redesign how work gets done—turning complexity into systems that help them scale.

I’m also the co-founder of a specialty coffee brand, a caregiver, photographer, woodworker, and student of natural building. Different mediums, same instinct: understand how things work, then build them better.
